take your shoes off and come on in!
(Please leave the snow, cold & worries of the day outside!)

There are halibut derbies all summer long on the Kenai Peninsula.

Kenai Peninsula

The Kenai River drains in the Cook Inlet and flows through the towns of Kenai and Soldotna. There are several smaller rivers that drain into the Kenai River, and in addition there are a large number of lakes and ponds.

We live right in the middle of this prime fishing area! We are also right on the edge of a large moose & caribou habitat just to the north.

The standard method of travel is to fly into the city of Anchorage, approximately 200 miles to the north and drive down to the peninsula.
The site seeing is incredible and well worth a car rental!

However if you are in a hurry to get busy playing, you can also get a commuter plane from Anchorage to the Kenai  or Homer airports.
